Shan Zhai (山寨）

"Shan Zhai" means "Imitation". It's a totally new industry in China. Factories are cloning the real electronic products for sale. The most popular one is the imitation iPhone. It costs about RMB 600.00. That's less than CAD 100.00. People from HK are snapping this little thing up just across the border. The real McCoy in HK is suffering a sale slump. Price drops.
