It's Loquat (pi pa in Chinese), a very nice sweet juicy fruit. There are two types. The first type is more yellowish and tear drop shape. This second type is lighter yellowish and smaller. But this second type is more delicate. It originates from Shandong province just SouthWest of here.
Sooo good. We also had Chinese Bayberry with HagenDez Vanilla ice-cream.. Available only this month! I meant the fruits not the ice-cream.
O yeah, juicy Lychee with very small seeds. Next, Durians in Penang this weekend!
