Freaking frustrated....

Who said the technology in China is really advanced? Maybe a year ago when I was checking the Internet connections. Of late, actually since last Fall, service has been really bad. I have to jump thru hoops in order to get to my Internet destinations. If that's the way, there is no way you can have an International business community thriving. I am currently has snail speed - meaning, slower than the Canadian gov't processing your documents. I think I have about equal par to the dial-up speed of 54K modem. And the Chinese routers going out to the world are randomly blocking sites, like my own test site with only one line of text - "testing". Anything to the North America seems to have problem with exception of NY Times and WSJ. PCworld was blocked. Air Canada website is blocked. Greater Asia is still ok. Some are superfast in rendering. I am typing this up by jumping around the world. Last night, when I tried pulling up this article on Tor from the Lifehacker.com site, it refreshed briefly and then blanked. The content was screened and then blocked. This really make things frustrating to work.

If I am not updating the blog as frequently as it should be, that's the reason why. Trying to get out.

Coming in physically to Shanghai is getting easier! But getting out on the Internet, well, that's a different story entirely.
