The Bund

We were on the roof top of a restaurant yesterday called New Height.
Good view. Forget the food and drink though. It was about 4:30-ish
in the afternoon. Kinda dark and grim huh? Well, June plum rain
season. Heavy, humid and trying to rain but just couldn't make up the
mind. The first picture was the newly re-opened Bund on Puxi side. Pu
Xi meaning the West side of Huang Pu river. This renovation to the
river side took about 15 months. All for the Expos. If you zoom in,
in the upper part of the picture there are LOTS of people. Hence our
American visitors are gladly to be high above and look down. And to
look across the river to the East side of the river, Pu Dong.

Just muggy to walk around. Plus it was wall to wall people, bumping
you, skin to skin... Ugh.... It was a good hose down time after 6
hours out walking around.
